9/23/26 – College Night, Guest Artists & Music Around Columbus
College Night: Join us at 8pm on Friday October 2nd in Kilbourne Hall. College Night is a CMC event targeted towards students aiming to study music or participate in music at a collegiate level. All freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors, along with family, are encouraged to attend this night full of information that supports the college audition and application process. Guest Artists: KASA Quartet, Eddie Barbash, and Kyle Athayde are three of CMC’s amazing guest artists this fall. They will be rehearsing, coaching, and performing from October 8th-10th. Do not miss out on your opportunity to see these six brilliant musicians! Solo Performance Support: Students at CMC are encouraged to participate in solo performance support sessions after regular CMC sessions. Performing in front of an audience can be nerve-wracking; ease your nerves by playing your solo work in front of your peers. Reach out to the CMC admin team to schedule your solo performance support session! Audition Support: Many CMC alumni craft careers as performing musicians and successful auditions can be a large part of this. Whether it be for colleges or major orchestras, we want CMC students to get experience auditioning in front of their peers. Much like solo performance support- after regular CMC sessions students have the opportunity to do a mock audition in front of their peers. Reach out to the CMC admin team to schedule your audition support session! CMC Large Ensemble Concert: On Friday October 23rd at 7:15 PM CMC is holding its Large Ensemble Concert at Rose Run Presbyterian Church! This evening is a reflection of all the hard work our students have put in over the course of the fall session of CMC and will feature solos by senior fellows! |
