9/30/26 - Remembering Marcia Ferritto, October 10th Side-by-Side with KASA, Eddie Barbash & Kyle Athayde

3 min read

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Marcia Ferritto, mother of our dear friend, Annie Fullard (Cavani), grandmother of CMC alumnus Sam Rosenthal, and past teacher of CMC's Founder and Artistic Director, Debbie Price.

Marcia played a vital role in CMC’s beginnings as an advisor to Debbie, serving also as a guest artist for several CMC programs, including for our first annual spring festival. Alumnus Kyle Price (Cavani & KASA) shared this about Marcia:

"Marcia was an incredible soul and had an immense impact on all of us! She was an inspiring figure and certainly connected so many of us through her friendship, pedagogy and devotion to the arts and people around her."

College Info Night: College Night is a CMC event targeted towards students aiming to study music or participate in music at a collegiate level in any capacity. All freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors, along with family, are encouraged to attend this night of information that supports the college audition and application process. Music in college doesn’t stop at auditions- information on music clubs, careers, and more will also be discussed.

Guest Artists: KASA Quartet, Eddie Barbash, and Kyle Athayde are three of CMC’s amazing guest artists this fall. They will be rehearsing, coaching, and performing side-by-side with CMC students from October 8th-10th. Do not miss out on your opportunity to work, play, and perform with these six brilliant musicians!
